Slow Braised Pork
(make it a sandwich if desired!)
1 pork butt (approx. 4-5lbs)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger
1 tsp Pretty Thai® Thai Chili Powder
2 bunches of scallions
2 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tbsp Pretty Thai® Seasoning Salt
1/4 cup lime juice
1). Purée all marinade ingredients in a food processor.
2). Add pork butt to a crock pot, pour over marinade, and cook on high for 5-6 hours or until fork tender. If using the oven, put in a large pot, pour over marinade and cooking on 300ºF for 6-8 hours or until fork tender.
